i’ve been on the hunt for obscure movie soundtracks lately; i mean they’re not completely obscure; i just like saying the word ‘obscure’ and have been applying it to my daily vocabulary. the cover art on both of these are so ill. and my Phantasm cd should be arriving any day now. pretty soon i’m going to be the official weirdo at work. i’ve been good though; i’ve been saying ‘hi’ to my co-workers when they least expect it…and smiling too. oh and i bought speakers for my work computer so anyone who sits near me will hear my music. hella hecka tight dood!

Don’t know if any of you are Japanese anime fans; I only like a select few actually, and this is one of them; Paprika. I got to work on the DVD & Blu-ray version last year and the visuals are great. The last screen is from another movie called Perfect Blue; same director, 2 movies, very similiar surrealistic styles. Go watch both of them when you’re in the mood for it. Sometimes anime movies are hard to get into, but if you’re really attentive, enjoy visual detail and complex story lines, you will like it.
