my only knowledge of the guy was that he was mad up at some point, and that my husband met him once when Rub-N-Tug were in LA a few years back; cool dude…and then i started seeing random polaroids on FFFFOUND that i thought were fuckin’ killer, not knowing that they were his work:

great post of his work on Tiny Vices:

It’s been 2 years since my mom left this earth. This photo sums up one of the things she enjoyed the most in life: eating good food with her family and friends.

We love and miss you so much Mom. A certain someone misses your cooking, especially the lumpia you used to make; and I miss seeing you at the house, hearing you play the piano and spending time with you while eating spam, eggs and rice. Chubby misses you too.

Al Copeland, flamboyant founder of Popeyes fried chicken chain, dies at 64

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Thanks for leaving us with some good ass fried chicken, biscuits and fries; though the customer service sucks 90% of the time what with young, rude girls who can’t speak English very well roll their eyes at you when they obviously got your order wrong even though you order the same thing every time you go there…you still keep us coming back for more…RIP

Today marks a year since my mom passed away. She liked Thomas Kinkade’s artwork a lot. She was Christian; always prayed for us and had peaceful images with prayers framed and hung up in her house. She also played the piano and enjoyed having company over. Glad you are resting now, Mom. We love and miss you so much.
