This version of Jack and the Beanstalk scared me as a kid; I rediscovered it again recently and it still trips me out a little; it’s dark, filled with grownup overtones of greed and being broke and not extremely bright & colorful in comparison to what the DVD packaging illustrates at all. The song the princess sings will suck you in too.

It’s been a lifelong goal of mine to learn Spanish, but I haven’t signed up for a class yet. I’d rather learn by watching videos…I mean after all, I learned English by watching TV. Whoever said TV is bad for you?
